About the Author

Daniel Porta is a cybersecurity professional and educator dedicated to building a safer digital future through awareness, education, and responsible online behavior.

As CISO and co-founder of DANRESA Cybersecurity, a leading cybersecurity company in Brazil, Daniel has spent his career helping organizations and people understand digital risks and protect what matters most in an increasingly connected world.

At the core of his work is a simple belief:

cybersecurity is a shared responsibility.

A safer digital world is built when knowledge, awareness, and ethical behavior are accessible to everyone.

This philosophy inspired Daniel to write Liga dos Cyber-Heróis e o Parque dos Códigos (Cyber Heroes League and the Code Park), a book created to introduce young people and young adults to cybersecurity in an engaging, accessible, and human way. Through storytelling, real-life situations, and relatable characters, the book translates complex technical concepts into practical lessons about digital safety, responsibility, and collaboration.

The same vision led to the creation of Be a Cyber Hero — an independent educational initiative designed to support youth and young adults in developing cyber awareness, critical thinking, and safer online habits. The project extends the educational mission of the book by offering practical content focused on real digital challenges faced by today’s young generation.

Daniel believes that empowering young people with knowledge not only helps them protect themselves, but also prepares them to protect others — and, for those who choose this path, to become the next generation of cybersecurity professionals.

When not leading cybersecurity initiatives, Daniel focuses on creating educational content that connects technology, behavior, and responsibility — helping young minds navigate the digital world with confidence, awareness, and purpose.
